MCLA celebrated 114th Commencement exercises on Saturday, May 18
Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) celebrated its 114th Commencement exercises on Saturday, May 18 in the Amsler Campus Center Gymnasium.
Three-hundred and eighty-nine students received their Bachelor's degrees; 35 received a Master of Education, four received a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Educational Leadership, and 22 received a Professional Master's of Business Administration degree.

MCLA student, Doris Behanzin, one of '29 Who Shine' in Commonwealth

On May 2, Doris Behanzin '13, a recipient of the 29 Who Shine Award, traveled to the State House for an award presentation and luncheon honoring all the recipients of the award. The award is presented by the Massachusetts Department of Higher Education.
Innovation in the Sciences
The MCLA Center for Science and Innovation, a $40 million state-of-the art teaching and learning facility, will open in 2013, connecting the college to opportunities in the commonwealth's world-class biotechnology and life sciences sector.
Nationally, and in Massachusetts, the life sciences represent an educational and economic growth opportunity.
