Residential Programs & Services (RPS)
The MCLA housing program sets the stage for student learning by providing a living environment that is conducive to academic pursuits, personal growth and the development of friendships. As we believe the living experience is an integral part of the educational process, students, (except local commuters) are required to live on campus and participate in a College meal plan. A student's residency requirement is set in accordance with the number of college credits completed prior to acceptance. Hence, first year students entering the College live on campus and participate in the designated College meal plan for three years. Students with prior college experience receive a one, two or three-year residency requirement commensurate with the number of credits completed. The Office of Admission assigns the appropriate residency requirement at the time of admission. The three campus residence communities house over 800 fulltime, traditional-aged students. Each residence area is supervised by a Residence Director and a team of Resident Advisors. Frequently Asked Questions What's the goal of the MCLA on-campus housing program?
