"Coming out of the History Department at MCLA, and also having spent three years working on the Student Government Association (SGA), I had hoped to continue to pursue my interests and get a job working in government. I had been to the State House a few times for Student Lobby days, and had been in touch with my local representatives all throughout school, so after graduation, this was certainly to my advantage, as I now work on Beacon Hill."

HEAD COACH

Ed Paquette enters his fifth season as the head coach of Women’s Volleyball, and Won/Loss ratio has climbed steadily since he began.   Mr. Paquette has coached for several years in Berkshire County, and has guided both girls and boys high school club volleyball teams to County Championships.  Coach Paquette is also very active in the County adult leagues as a player and an administrator.  His teams have won several championships in Division A competition, and he currently serves as an Executive Committee board member.

“I am very excited about our prospects for next season.  With our record improving each year, we are gathering more momentum as a solid volleyball program, and are attracting a higher level of recruit.  In-coming players this year are already well seasoned through their participation in Junior Olympics and other club organizations.  It will be exciting to mix that talent with returning players to run a much quicker and sophisticated offense while maintaining a defense that plays together as a unit, being very stingy in giving up any easy points.”

ASSISTANT COACH

Greg Duval is a former head coach at the College (then North Adams State College). He is a graduate of Arizona State University where he received his bachelor's degree in Sport Administration. Duval is a 30 year veteran of the Berkshire County Volleyball league as a player, coach, administrator, and certified official. He most recently served as an assistant coach at Williams College.
