"MCLA not only gave me a great education in the classroom, it also gave me a chance to learn outside of the classroom. Whether it was on the baseball field, in the community, or working with different clubs and organizations MCLA gave me the chance to grow as a person. I use both my classroom and non-classroom education every day that I’m at work. I have to learn in every situation that presents itself, day after day. The meetings I attend are just like the small classroom settings at MCLA and allow me to feel comfortable. I prepare for those meetings just like I did for a test or a baseball practice. MCLA made me a better person. I feel more confident as a person with my MCLA degree."

What is e-TOKE?

What is the e-TOKE?

The electronic THC Online Knowledge Experience (e-TOKE) is a marijuana-specific brief assessment and feedback tool designed to reduce marijuana use among college students. The assessment takes about 10-15 minutes to complete, is self-guided, and requires no face-to-face contact time with a counselor or administrator.

What does it do?

When you access the e-TOKE, they are prompted to enter information about themselves. In addition to demographic information, they enter information about their use of marijuana, spending patterns, and their lifestyle. After all information has been entered, you submit the form. The information you entered is validated and then processed. The e-TOKE calculates a number of variables and compares your responses to national and local college norms. Then, that information is displayed in an easy-to-read format.

What does one need to use the e-TOKE?

  1. A computer
  2. Internet access
  3. An Standards Compliant Internet Browser with JavaScript activated
  4. 10-15 minutes to complete the survey
  5. A printer (to print the feedback)
