"I really wanted to attend an institution that was somewhat of a community -- something small -- and to connect with professors and with the administration and have them know my name. And, because of MCLA's internship program, I was able to get my foot in the door at a very prominent company which jump-started my career."

The
most recent activity at Murdock has been daily arrivals of cement trucks.
Cement is being pumped into support columns and now the lower level
floor. These are pictures of the pump truck.
This is the floor of the
lower level looking south. I am standing by the tunnel doorway leading
to Venable Hall.
This is the lower level looking
north.
The elevator is being moved
to the north end of the building. These are pictures of the footings
for the new elevator.
New ceilings are being
installed with sheetrock 5/8th inches thick measuring 4’ by 12’.
The workers have a device located between the scaffolding that raises
the sheets to the ceiling.
These are new ceilings
on the second floor. The larger cutout will hold the ductwork to move
air throughout the building.
This area of the third
floor will be divided into faculty offices.
What will move the air
through the building?
Brand new fans and new ducts in the attic.
