"Coming out of the History Department at MCLA, and also having spent three years working on the Student Government Association (SGA), I had hoped to continue to pursue my interests and get a job working in government. I had been to the State House a few times for Student Lobby days, and had been in touch with my local representatives all throughout school, so after graduation, this was certainly to my advantage, as I now work on Beacon Hill."

This door, found in the basement is the last original door left in the building. The brick archway, now filled in, was originally a bay for one for the campus boilers used for heat.
The basement does have several remaining open archways along the east side of the building. This entire area will be used for building mechanical devices.
All of these pictures show the hole soon to be filled with the new elevator. One picture shows the new landing outside of the elevator and various views of the shaft.
This area is located on the lower level north side and will be the new home for vending machines in the building.
This group of pictures shows the insulation and other items being placed in the walls. The wood planks are installed to provide a surface on which to install white boards in all of the class rooms and conference rooms.
A quick look at the Sociology Departments new home. The old windows will be replaced with new window of the same design.
