Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Educational Leadership
(CAGS in Massachusetts, CAS in New York) Program dates for Summer 2008: August 3-12
Readings for Summer 2008 can be accessed by clicking Reading/Writing tab. PROGRAM DETAILS: - The CAGS requires a total of 33 course credits (internship not included).
- Leadership Academy alums with 12 course credits may transfer up to 12 credits in ADMN from another accredited college or university. Credits proposed for transfer to MCLA are subject to review by the Graduate Committee.
- The housing options and costs, including dorm room (all housing is in dorm rooms), board, tuition and fees will be:
- Design single (or design double) - TBA
- Premium single - TBA
- A $300 non-refundable deposit is required with application; if the program is already filled when you apply, we will refund your $300 deposit.
- A section will be limited to 15-18 students.
- A section will have three instructors
- To ensure attendance please send in your application and deposit no later than April 30 as we must reserve space for classes and residence.
- There will be a Reading List containing books which will need to be read before attending.
HOW TO APPLY: Since you are Leadership Academy alums and have sent in all required paperwork, you need only send a letter of intent with current name, address, phone number, e-mail address, and choice of housing along with a $300 non-refundable deposit to: Education Department, MCLA, 375 Church Street, North Adams, MA 01247.
