"Transferring to MCLA was one of the greatest decisions I ever made. Being able to learn from and connect with the faculty and staff equipped me with greater networking capabilities/skills and the opportunity to use them outside of the institution, preparing me for the road ahead. Taking part and engaging in different clubs and organizations on campus helped to shape and guide me for countless opportunities."

Business Administration

Welcome to Fall 2008!  We are looking forward to an exciting year as we continue to expand our program offerings.  In addition to our General Business Administration program and our ongoing concentrations in Accounting, Business Information Systems, Event & Sport Management, Management, and Marketing, we have added International Business this year, a program that takes advantage of our collaboration with the Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade as well as other academic departments on campus.  We have also added a Marketing Minor to our ongoing offerings of minors in Business Administration & Economics.

We hope our website answers many of your questions, but please contact us for additional information!

The programs in Business Administration are designed to develop liberally educated professionals with the knowledge, perspectives, problem-solving abilities, and ethical values necessary for successful careers and responsible citizenship. The program has several options, including a general program in Business Administration as well as six areas of concentration. All of our options offer a strong foundation of required courses combined with appropriate departmental and non-departmental courses that give students a strong base in communication, technical, and administrative skills. Our goal is for our students to become academically well rounded and technically prepared for a career in business, government, non-profit organizations, or for graduate study.

We have wonderful internship opportunities in all of our programs; many of our students turn these internships into full time positions upon graduation.
