Business Honor Society
Delta Mu Delta invitations will go out soon! Students with 60 credit hours or more, a GPA of 3.25 or higher, and at least three upper level major courses completed will receive invitations to be inducted into the Delta Mu Delta honorary business society at our spring induction ceremony on Saturday, April 29, 2006, at 10 a.m. in Sullivan Lounge in the Amsler Campus Center.
If you are one of the students invited to join, please get your Membership Data Profile Form and RSVP back to me as soon as possible, no later than Friday, April 21st. I have to order your certificates from Delta Mu Delta headquarters and need some lead time for that. (You'll have another week to get the check to me!)
All current Delta Mu Delta members are invited to attend, as well as any students interested in what the society is all about. Just send me a quick email letting me know you plan on attending - N.Ovitsky@mcla.edu.
Delta Mu Delta, founded in 1913, was established to recognize and reward superior scholastic achievement by students of business administration. In 1963 it was admitted to membership in the Association of College Honor Societies, an organization of 68 member national honor societies whose purpose is to maintain desirable standards. Delta Mu Delta is affiliated with the Association of Collegiate Schools of Business and Programs. In the United States, 155 Delta Mu Delta chapters have been formed in fully accredited public and private colleges with membership of over 78,000. Here at MCLA we have the Zeta Zeta Chapter of Delta Mu Delta, established in 1992. To date we have had over 400 members inducted in our local chapter.
