Brown Bag Lecture Series
Faculty members at MCLA have for many years been engaged in research and special projects. To allow campus and community members the opportuity to learn about their interests and research, the faculty instituted a "Brown Bag Lecture Series" where faculty present and discuss their scholarly activities. The Brown Bag Lecture Series for 2008-2009 are below. All lectures take place on a Friday at 3pm in Bowman 209. September 26, 2008: Jenifer Augur will discuss "Humanistic Methods of Teaching Writing" October 17, 2008: Anne Goodwin will present "Spreading Menace: Invasive Sea Squirts on the Pacivid Coast of Panama" November 14, 2008: Dawn Shamburger will present "26 Days in Europe: Fashion, Shoes and Fans, Oh My!"
