Academics
Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA)offers a challenging curriculum that provides flexibility for motivated students to shape their own course of study and encourages them to combine traditional coursework with experiential learning such as internships, study abroad, and other field experiences. A challenging Honors Program also complements our academic offerings. To accomplish this mission, we seek to develop curricula that integrate liberal arts with professional studies through the programs listed on our Majors and Department page. The Office of Academic Affairs is responsible for academic programming, academic support programs, and implementing academic policies. It also serves as an office for students who may have questions regarding academic issues and programming, including study abroad, internships and on-line offerings. We offer many majors and concentrations as well as a graduate program in Education and the Continuing Education Program. This office is dedicated to supporting faculty and students in meeting the mission of the college. Please contact the office of Admissions if you are interested in receiving further information about acceptance to MCLA.
