"What prepared me at MCLA for my internship at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center and graduate school was the rigor of my physics classes. I would credit Dr. Adrienne Wootters in particular with teaching us to work hard and she was always willing to make time to work on problems with us when we couldn’t get them."

A Gateway to the World

Step into college and greet a world of learning. Our campus is more than a growing microcosm of world peoples. It is a gateway to travel, personal growth, and learning first hand about other people, other places. What better way to prepare for globalization than by experiencing it in college?

Study Abroad Programs - now or later - will change your life. Globalization of communication, commerce, arts and culture is revolutionizing societies everywhere. Future success in business, politics, and your chosen career will increasingly depend not only on professional expertise, but on personal familiarity with clients, customers and associates from different cultures. Your learning as an MCLA student studying in Europe, Asia, or the Americas will prepare you to meet tomorrow's challenges. It may also change your life today.

Study Abroad Steps

MCLA belongs to the College Consortium for International Studies (CCIS), the Semester At Sea Program, and the Massachusetts Council for International Education (MaCIE).  Through these associations, we send students on semester or year long programs to colleges and universities around the world.  At MCLA, your learning about the world begins locally and ends globally.

These websites show CCIS, Semester at Sea and MaCIE opportunities in detail.  Check them out:
